Exploring The Basa Basa Experience will allow a world-wide audience to meet the men behind the band, thereby giving a better understanding of the art form rooted in African culture & tradition, and developed from life’s experiences. The music documentary is 90 minutes, and intended for a general worldwide audience.

Synopsis: For decades, Nyaku twins Joseph (Jojo) and John (Oko) have operated near global superpowers in New York City, where they've lived for over 35 years. Few in their well-connected network know of their hidden past. Accepting Fela Kuti's invitation to play in Lagos led to the creation of their band, BASA BASA. This layered documentary explores captivating untold stories from real characters intertwined in the vibrant music scenes of Ghana, Nigeria, New York City and The Netherlands.
