AYETORO - A Jazz Collective

Ayetoro is a West African music collective based in Nigeria. Its music is original with  jazz and highlife providing the foundation for an afrobeat sound.  It features musicians from Nigeria, Ghana and England.The group is led by Nigerian musician, music director, and composer Funsho Ogundipe, and has released a series of albums titled the Afrobeat Chronicles. Discography: Naija Blues (1996), Afrofunkycool - The Jazz Side of Afrobeat (2003 EP), Afrobeat Chronicles vol1), Omo Obokun Afrobeat chronicles vol 2 - (2006), Asoju Oba (2014), Irunmole (2016), Ominira (2017).

Music Director, Pianist, Composer

Funsho Ogundipe is a Nigerian musician, music director, and composer. He has released a series of albums and leads the West African music collective Ayetoro.

Dede Mabiaku is a peculiar and versatile Nigerian artist who has come a long way in honing his craft in the Afrobeat, Highlife and Jazz music genres. An accomplished singer/songwriter; saxophonist; composer and arranger, who performed with Fela and became his opening act and managed his final international tour.

B-Elect & Elected1 Legacy
Multidisciplinary Artist

Multi-disciplinary artiste Bright Andrew Igho, also known as B-Elect,  Elect1 and Elected1 was a creative powerhouse of reckoning. He was a prolific writer, poet, rap enthusiast and visual artist, who attained critical success with his unique writing style and thought-provoking lyrics.

 

Uchenna Ohagwu

Uchenna Ohagwu Is a multimedia Nigerian artist with an eclectic quest for self-expression. His path as an artist can be traced back to his childhood which was characterized with his interest and love for drawing during the early 80s and the influence of Uli scripts from his village to the urban explosion of the golden era of hip-hop in the city heralded by cassette tapes, comics and graffiti. He goes by the moniker Minista Busta.

Dionne Jemide-Obodo

Dionne is a creative writer with a particular leaning toward storytelling in film, the spoken word in poetry, and documentaries. She creates awareness about social issues affecting the African Woman/Girl Child and historical African stories, while writing as a contributing editor for female magazines like Today’s Woman (TW).

Anyako Universal Cultural Troupe
Musicians/Choir/Theatre

The Anyako  Universal Cultural Troupe is a performing musical/theatre group from the Volta Region of Ghana. Led by musician and choir director Godwin Golomeke Sesanu, the group numbers up to 40 members that  perform social and recreational dance of people of Anlo States.

Latoya Ekemode is a publisher, composer, performer, dancer and the wife of Orlando Julius. As a performer, Latoya Ekemode has shared the stage with her husband Orlando Julius, and has also performed as a solo artist. Her performances often blend traditional Nigerian music and dance with modern styles and influences.

Ayodele Onyekachi BANJO is a visual content creation professional with a broad-based knowledge of technical aspects of the creative process. He runs The Wongfaehong Production Company (TWPC) from Lagos Nigeria and has over two decades of experience in providing and supervising post production facilities for several clients from MTV to Showmax, Africa-Related and several feature films. He has received training at Relativity Studios in LA as well as Netflix Post Lab training. A great leader and collaborator, who understands the importance of designing to a brief.

Juanita Chinyere Ashade

Juanita Chinyere Ashade is a pastor's wife, a music minister andordained Deaconess in Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria. As atent-maker, she is presently the Director of Programmes (Operations)and lead-presenter in Voice of Nigeria. She is a Mass Communication graduate from University of Nigeria, Nsukka and holds a post-graduatedegree in Gender Studies from University of Abuja. She is also amember of the Nigeria Union of Journalists. She is married to her one and only loving and caring husband, Ayodele and both are blessed with the seed of Grace.

 

Charles “DCharli” Dapwatda
Producer/Musician

Charles Dapwatda a.k.a DCharli, D3miGod is a versatile artist, rapper, music producer, and sound engineer. His background, origin and his residence in “Jtown”central Nigeria honed his musical skills. He enjoys hip hop, pop and gospel music, showcasing his diverse musical tastes DCharli has collaborated within his local Nigerian scene with rapper Raheed the Wisdomist, and has worked internationally with Words by Moe and Minista Buster. He has other released some singles and an album titled “Making Music”  DCharli's entrepreneurial side emphasizes his multifaceted career.
