Oyiza Adaba is a Nigerian journalist, producer, and art promoter with more than two decades of on and behind the camera experience in several multimedia productions. She founded the media platform Africa-Related in 2008 to develop concepts that use media tools to tell authentic stories from an African perspective; with key focus on producing, writing, reporting, art promotion, women and community development. A graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of Jos, Nigeria, Oyiza has drawn media and production experiences from corporate multinationals and from covering African news globally.  In 2019, she founded Ita'i Our Cloth, a weaving social enterprise that promotes 'Itinochi', the Ebira woven cloth. Oyiza's feature documentary is "DELA: The Making of El Anatsui" (2023). She is currently directing an historical Docu-series "WOVEN: The Intriguing Journey of the Ebira Cloth" (2024). She has done collaborative works and is a member of several reputable bodies including NY Foreign Press Centre, SPJ, Int’l Documentary Assc., UN Press, NY Women In Film TV (NYWIFT), Assc. of Women Directors (AWD), African Press Club etc.
